Xiaomi In March 2021, it launched its foldable smartphone – Mi Mix Fold. The company is now all set to launch its successor. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has confirmed that the company will introduce it Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 smartphone at an event on August 11. A day after the global launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z series smartphone, the Chinese smartphone maker is launching its own foldable smartphone. For those unaware, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 on August 10.
The company has also confirmed that it will also launch Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro and Buds 4 Pro at the same event.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 2
Xiaomi has shared a teaser image of the upcoming Mix Fold 2 smartphone. The teaser image confirms that the smartphone will come in golden color.
According to the leakster digital chat station, the foldable smartphone is said to have an external display with 1080×2520 pixels resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. Both the internal and external displays of the smartphone come with a 120Hz refresh rate. Another online leak claims that the company has used Samsung’s E5 AMOLED screen for the external display and Samsung Eco² OLED for the internal display.
The upcoming foldable smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2x telephoto camera. The smartphone will also come with a Leica branded camera.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and Android 12 operating system.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro is tipped to feature a larger display and a 50MP main camera.
The tablet is also expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro is confirmed to come with intelligent dynamic noise reduction and independent spatial audio support.
