The Sports Authority of India said on Saturday that the national selection trial for women kabaddi players would start from February 21 at various National Centers of Excellence and non-SAI centers across the country.
The selection trial is open to girls in the age group of 16 to 22 years and details of other selection criteria are available on the SAI website.
While the first set of trials will start from February 21 at SAI’s NRC NCOE-Sonipat, the process will continue at other SAI / non-SAI centers in the following week.
NCOEs include Dharamsala (February 24-25), Lucknow (February 27-28), Trivandrum (February 25-26), Mumbai (February 28-March 1), Kolkata (March 5-6) and Guwahati (March 8).
STC Chennai (February 22-23), STC Hyderabad (February 25-26), STC Mastuna Sahib in Punjab (February 27-28), Chogan Stadium in Jaipur (February 28-March 1), SAI Center in Bengaluru (February 28-March) 1 ), Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi (March 3), Patli Putra Stadium in Patna (March 2-3), and Manjalpur Sports Complex (March 4) in Vadodara are the other centers that will host the trial.
