Starlink: Elon Musk-backed Starlink begins refunding pre-booking deposits to customers

Tesla CEO Elon Musk backed Satellite Broadband Company Starlink Users in India who pre-booked the service have started offering a refund of $ 99 (approximately Rs. 7,400). In an email communication, the company asked customers who had paid the deposit to login and cancel their account on the company’s website and send a request for a refund. “Refunds will be issued immediately, although it may take up to 10 days for them to be reflected in your bank account,” the email said. Earlier, Starlink Country Director Sanjay Bhargava said the company could register for a commercial license on or before the end of January 2022.
