sony: Sony PlayStation Plus will launch in India in June: price, games and other details


Sony Introduced a new gaming service called Sony PlayStation Plus In March 2022. The service combines both Sony’s PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus membership into a single service. Earlier, the company said that the service would be launched in the first half of 2022 and now it has announced the official rollout date of the service which will be June 23, 2022. The company has not only announced the launch date of the service but has also released a detailed list of both PS5 and PS4 games that will be available with this service. Sony has compiled a list of games that will be available to subscribers under various plans such as PlayStation Plus Essential Extra and Deluxe plans.
Sony PlayStation Plus price and availability
The next PlayStation Plus service will launch in India on June 23 with other regions like Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The service will also be launched on different dates for different regions around the world. For example, the service will arrive in some Asian countries on May 24 and will arrive in Japan on June 2. The service will be available on June 13 in North and South America.
The new PlayStation Plus service will be available in three subscription tires. Each level will include a separate set of privileges and game portfolio. However, each level portfolio will also include hundreds of newest and oldest titles for users to explore. Players will find exclusive content in the game such as – skins for members only, cosmetics, weapons and for free-to-play games like Fortnite and Apex Legends, with some other features upon purchase of the service subscription. Sony will also offer subscribers the ability to play multiplayer and co-op games with friends and more with 100 GB of cloud storage.
The PlayStation Plus Essential subscription will cost Rs 499 ($ ​​7) for one month of service. This level of subscription will offer a PS4 game and a PS5 game to download every month. It will also offer online multiplayer capabilities and other key features. The PlayStation Plus Extra costs around Rs. Will be 749 (10). This level will give players access to game catalogs where they can download hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games, as well as “Plus Essential” benefits. Sony has announced that certain games will be included with the PlayStation Plus subscription. However, the company is not expected to include new first-party titles in its subscription packages. This means that titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Forbidden West, and Gran Turismo 7 will not initially be included in the PlayStation Plus.
