The 53-year-old singer is survived by his wife Jyoti Krishna and two children Nakul Krishna Kunnath And daughter Tamara Kunnath. They were seen at the CMRI Hospital in Kolkata where the singer’s mortal remains were kept. The singer is expected to undergo an autopsy, after which his family will take his body back to Mumbai.
A case of unnatural death has been reported after the death of the singer. A police official told PTI, “We have started an investigation into the death of singer KK and a case of unnatural death has been registered at the New Market police station. We are talking to the hotel authorities and examined the CCTV footage to find out what happened before. Was taken to hospital. ”
