BENGALURU: Tendulkar has done an impressive job of helping Pirates of Patna Defeating the defending champion Bengal Warriors 38-29 in them Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 matches will be played here on Sunday.
Tendulkar scored a Super 10 (11 points) and was well supported by Guman Singh (7 points) in the riding unit.
The Pirates’ defense was also in top form with Mohammedreza Shadloi scoring High 5. The win helped the Patna Pirates to the top of the points table. The three-time champion is now the favorite to reach the top-2 which will give him a direct entry into the season 8 semi-finals.
It was one more bad day with the Bengal Warriors struggling with both their defense and attack on the Mets. They will now have to win all the remaining matches of the season to make it to the Eliminators.
Patna took control of the first half with a mass performance. Their raiders Sachin and Guman Singh found easy mistakes in giving the Bengal defenders an early lead.

In the left corner of Bengal, even the generally trusted Ran Singh was spending the night full of mistakes. But despite the dominance, the Pirates failed to bring everyone else out.
With five minutes left in the match, Patna took an 8-point lead. Tendulkar won his Super 10 as Patna finally got his second all out. He opened the lead by 11 points.
