FC Goa have given Princeton Rebels a two-year contract extension ahead of their new hero Indian Super League (ISL) season. The 23-year-old defender will now stay at the club until the 2023-24 season.

After signing the contract, the 23-year-old said, “I’m really looking forward to the coming season and working to make an impact on the side. I hope I will stay longer and have a lot of success with the club. This is a big moment of pride for me and my family. I joined FC Goa five years ago with the goal of getting better every day and finally one day playing in the first team. This has been my reality for two seasons now but I know I have a lot to do. “

After a sporadic start to the season, FC Goa will look to see a talented young player move forward and become a key figure in the team. An inaugural member of the FC Goa development team that started in 2017, Princeton was one of the key players in the team that won the Goa Pro League in 2018-19.

Right now India U23 International also played a key role in helping the Gours remain unbeaten in their inaugural challenge at the Durand Cup 2019. In the 2020-21 season, he was given his first start for a club in the league.
