The Indian women’s hockey team’s clash for the Asian Champions Trophy against South Korea was canceled after one member tested positive for Covid-19.
A statement from the Asian Hockey Federation read:
“Today’s match is between Korea and 15:00 India So that’s not happening. More information will be provided shortly, “the statement added.
The Asian Hockey Federation regrets that a positive covid test result was obtained from yesterday’s regular test for a member of Team India. The match between Korea and India is not taking place today at 15:00. More information will be provided shortly. pic.twitter.com/SKyPTz1LN0

Hockey India issued a statement saying: “We are saddened to announce that our match against South Korea will not take place today due to the concerns of Kovid after yesterday’s regular test.”
