google: Google Maps to add a nearby traffic widget for Android users

Google Has announced the next widget for its Maps app which will be available soon Android Users This new widget will help Android users to get the latest updates on nearby traffic at their current location. In 2021, Google launched a similar widget for iOS users and now plans to expand the service for Android users. Google Maps Nearby Traffic Widget on Android
According to a report from 9to5Google, the tech giant has announced the first appearance of a widget that was 2×2 in size. However, Google has not specified whether users can resize the widget or whether it will quickly join the “Find nearby places” one.
Google’s preview shows a circular square with a map inside which also shows the user’s current location marked by a blue dot in the center, the report suggests. Google will alert users about the status of traffic indicated by green, orange and red lines, as users can see the traffic map level in the entire application.
The widget will also include a floating action button (FAB) with a dynamic color theme and will be available in the bottom-right corner while the Google logo will be in the bottom-left corner. This FAB Allow users to zoom in and out of the map.
According to the report, users will be able to view their current location traffic information directly from them Android Home Screen This will help users take a look at local traffic before heading home, office, school or anywhere else, the report said.
