Francisco Bagnania as Ducati Dominate Qualifying on the pole

Ducati’s Francesco Bagania claimed the pole position for the French Grand Prix after topping the qualifying session on Saturday, while Yamaha’s world champion Fabio Quartararo managed just fourth place on the grid in front of his home fans.

Bagania was the fastest in Le Mans with a time of 1 minute 30.450 seconds, 0.069 seconds ahead of teammate Jack Miller as Ducati dominated the last qualifying season.

Aprilia’s Alex Espargaro will make his third start for Sunday’s race, trailing Miller by 0.159 seconds.

Repsol Honda’s six-time MotoGP World Champion Mark Marquez was disappointed after finishing 10th.
