New Delhi: Indian swimmer Sajan Prakash failed to reach the semifinals, finishing 25th in the men’s 200m butterfly. FINA World Championships In Budapest, Hungary.
The 28-year-old finished eighth in his heat with a time of 1: 58.67 hours. From its heat the top five swimmers advanced to the semifinals.
The two-time Olympian, recovering from a shoulder injury, was ranked 25th overall.
His personal best in the event is 1: 56.48, which he set to qualify for last year’s Tokyo Olympics.

The 22-year-old closed the clock at 8: 15.96 and finished fifth in its heat, failing to advance to the finals.
