The combination of India’s 10M Air Pistol Mixed Team increased their dominance in the pistol disciplines as Esha Singh and Saurabh Chaudhary won gold and Palak and Sarabjot Singh silver medals at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhal, Germany on Thursday.
According to the information received, Esha and Saurabh were leading 16-12 in the gold medal match.
Ramita and Parth Makhija also won silver in the 10M air rifle mixed team event, losing 13-17 to the Polish pair of Julia Pyotrovska and Victor Sajdak, and won three and a total of 10 medals that day, including four golds. .
The Indian pistol pair topped the 38-field qualification round of 60 shots with scores of 578 and 575 respectively. Palak and Sarabjot were better than Esha and Saurabh in this round, however, the more experienced pair of Esha and Saurabh saw it when it was most important.
In the junior men’s trap, three shooters Arya Vansh Pathak, Vivan Kapoor and Shardul Viha scored respectable scores of 118 (first two names) and 117 each to finish ninth, 10th and 12th respectively. Shapath Bhardwaj finished 17th with 115 rounds while Bakhtiaruddin Malek scored 110 for 32nd place.
