Birmingham: Indian Boxer Rohit Talks (67 kg) advanced to the quarterfinals of the men’s welterweight category Commonwealth Games on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old boxer from Delhi won 5-0 Alfred Cote Ghana.

In the second round, Tokas, who is making his CWG debut, looked more confident and landed several right jabs and hooks on his opponent to win it.
Tokas found himself out in the final three minutes as he mixed up punches on his opponent. Cotney had no answer for the Indian invasion as all five judges ruled in favor of the latter.
Tokas is now just one win away from securing a medal.
