Advocate Singh also said there was no urgency and if Khan had been waiting for a month to file a suit, Kakkad should be given some time to file a reply.

Judge Laddad then adjourned the hearing.

Khan, who lives in Bandra, a suburb of Mumbai, owns a farmhouse in Panvel in neighboring Raigad district.

Khan wants a permanent order banning Kakkad from posting or publishing defamatory material about the actor or his farmhouse.
