Two-time Indian Super League (ISL) champions Chennai FC have signed a multi-year deal with Alexander Romario Jesuraj.
The 25-year-old winger from Dindagul, a district 420 km southwest of Chennai, has won two I-League titles under his belt in his impressive career so far. He will now take part in his home ISL club from the next ninth season.

Having scored his first ISL goal against Northeast United and assisted on four occasions, Jesuraj played 21 times for the Gours that season. He won the 2021 Durand Cup with them, scored one goal in five games and also appeared in five AFC Champions League matches for the club.
In the last ISL season, Jessuraj played nine matches for FC Goa and scored twice.
