Bhoomi Pednekar explained about her healthy diet and fitness routine

Bhoomi Pednekar made her debut in 2015 with Dum Laga Kar Haisha, for which she had to lose about 30 kg. Needless to say, the actress was wonderful onscreen in her character and overall appearance. But, Bhoomi shocked us all in 2017, when she lost a significant 35 kg weight after her debut film. Frequently, the Rakshabandhan actress has advocated for a healthy life and a clean diet. However, in a recent conversation with The Indian Express, Bhumi revealed about her healthy diet and fitness routine.

Starting with the fact that she never confines herself to any one particular physical activity, Bhumi said that she loves to train and walks whenever possible for her. Calling her “no regimental rule”, she added that she “goes for a run” whenever she can. “One of the things I’m sticking to is getting to the gym at least five times,” she said, asserting that she had sworn to the gym. In her candid conversation, Bhumi also refuted some of the myths regarding women’s workout practices. Contrary to many people’s claims that “women should not lift weights”, she incorporated the “weight training method” into her daily routine and noticed differences even after practicing it every day.

“My posture has improved while my aches and pains and injuries have subsided,” the Indian Express quoted Bhumi as saying. Giving details of her diet, Bhumi declared that since she is a vegetarian, “therefore most of her diet is plant based”. Stating that she leads a “sustainable lifestyle”, Bhumi added that her “diet automatically contributes kind of”. Explaining how crucial mental health is, Bhumi said that “loving your body is the only mantra” because when a person is aware of “what is right for the body”, that person feels good from within. She concludes that regular workouts are not only good for physical health but also for good mental health.
