BGMI Lite app for Android smartphones could launch soon

The introduction of the BGMI Lite app has yet to be confirmed by Krafton. However, given that the poll is now running in the Discord channel, it’s plausible that the company is working on the BGMI Lite app.

The Battlegrounds Mobile update 1.7 was recently released in India. The new update adds a few new events and in-game improvements to improve the overall gameplay experience. The BGMI Lite app could be announced soon by BGMI developers Krafton, who just published PUBG New State in India.

Fans have been questioned why they want a Battlegrounds Mobile India Lite app on the official Battlegrounds Mobile India Discord channel. One of the four alternatives in the Discord poll is the impossibility to play BGMI on a low-end smartphone. Players with low-end devices who seek higher frame rates, transferring inventories of purchased things from PUBG Mobile Lite, and loving the Lite version’s maps and skins are among the other alternatives.

A Lite app would allow players with low-cost or entry-level devices to enjoy the game while sacrificing a few features. BGMI currently requires a minimum of 2GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 or higher. PUBG Lite, which has since been banned in India, required at least 1GB of RAM and 600MB of free storage. If BGMI Lite is offered in India, we might expect it to require something similar.
