Bengaluru Bulls look to bounce back, UP Warriors aim to extend winning run

The UP Warriors in form will once again rely on their defense when they clash with the Haryana Steelers in the Pro Kabaddi League here on Sunday.

The Warriors had an incredible win against the Bengal Warriors in their previous outing, thanks to another definite performance from their defense. However, they will face the Haryana Steelers team who defeated the powerful Dabangg Delhi Casey in their last match.

The Warrior Defense is getting a resounding victory in their latest win, but Pardeep Narwal’s form will add one more weapon to their already strong arsenal.

Surender Gill has been superb for UP throughout the season but Pradeep’s form means he is now making a serious two-headed attack targeting both sides of the mat.

UP is on the winning streak of three matches but Haryana will pose a different threat. In Vikas Kandola, they have a star rider who can defend even the best, while the combination of Jaideep and Surender Nada has done wonders in their back-line.

Gujarat Giants and Bengaluru Bulls will play in the second game of the day.

Gujarat coach Manpreet Singh certainly chooses a challenge and hopes to inspire his star-packed defense to do what most teams have failed to do in this tournament.

The presence of Girish Ernak in the left corner will be crucial for his chances. The veteran defender missed his previous outing due to injury. Fortunately for Gujarat, the experienced cover combination of Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal is starting to find their form.

Bharat and Chandran Ranjit from Bengaluru have completed the roles of secondary raider to revive Pawan Sehrawat.

Bharat has been particularly impressive, using his weak body to bounce back from bonus points and unfortunate defeats against Woo Touch and Bulls Warriors.
