New Delhi: The BCCI And IPL team owners The virtual meeting on Saturday will discuss possible back-up venues for the next edition of the league.
The mega auction venue scheduled for Bengaluru on February 12 and 13 will also come up for discussion as the country deals with the third wave of Kovid-19.

“The owners have been invited to the meeting and it will be held virtually,” a team official told PTI.

The BCCI’s first choice is to host the event in India Covid As the situation worsens, it is important to have a back-up plan in place.

The 2020 edition took place entirely in the UAE, while the second edition of the 2021 edition took place across the emirate after the event was postponed in India due to the second wave of Covid-19.
The IPL usually takes place in April-May.
