An Apple spokesperson has confirmed to MacRumors that the company will roll out a fix for the camera shaking issue next week. The company is expected to fix the camera issue with the iOS 16.0.2 software update.
For those unaware, some iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users have complained that the main rear camera lens on iPhones vibrates uncontrollably when the camera is opened in third party apps like Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram and more. This lens shake leads to shaky video inside the viewfinder which makes it difficult for users to record stable videos.
Along with this, YouTuber Luke Maini has also claimed that the issue is related to the main lens of both the smartphones. He further added that he was not even able to focus properly with the camera app.
Apple has not yet revealed the reason behind this strange vibration. The company’s website mentions that the issue is not prevalent in regular iPhone 14 models that also use an image stabilization system. In the case of the Pro models, Apple used a “second-generation” version of the same system that may be the root of the problem.
